A Garden for Books

Whenever I travel the world, I am faced with the problem of that Buridan's beast. I cannot decide whether, like a flâneur, I should give in to the gastronomy of the eye, and spend my time of leisure strolling the city. Whether I should stop in front of a monument, visit a museum, a gallery, or I should retire — (surprisingly, it very often prevails) — to a library, and browse the books I, a provincial, miss day in, day out. Fortunately, sometimes, there are large libraries whose office hours allow you not to deprive yourself of any of these interests.
